Carl's Golfland Club Trade-In Program makes it easy to put new clubs in your bag and get a fair trade-in value for the old ones. We take care of everything so you don’t have to worry about the hassle and risk of selling or trading. All you have to do is choose your new club(s). It's the 3 step, ultra-affordable way to get new clubs.
Follow These 3 Easy Steps:
Step 1 - Find your club(s) trade-in value:
Find the trade in value of your clubs by visiting the PGA Value Guide. In 99% of cases the MID value will be the trade-in value associated with your trade.
Carl's Golfland only accepts: Drivers, Fairway Woods, Hybrids, Irons, Wedges and Putters as trade.
Only those clubs listed in the PGA Value Guide are available for Trade in.
Irons must be complete sets (3-PW) or (4-SW). No broken sets will be accepted.
Individual irons (1, 2, LW, etc.) accepted with matching sets only.
All clubs must meet the minimum condition standard in order to be accepted for trade-in. By committing to trade-in your club, you certify that your club meets our condition guidelines listed below. Clubs received that do not meet our minimum condition guidelines are subject to be returned at your expense.
Clubs with the following defects do not meet our minimum condition guidelines and will not be accepted:
Dented metal woods.
Metal woods with significant "sky-marks" or "pop-up marks" on the crown.
Irons or wedges with grooves worn more than 50% smooth.
Iron sets that do not have matching shafts
Any clubs with cracked or bent shafts.
Any clubs with cracked or badly scratched heads.
Wedges with excessive sole wear or dings from rocks or cart paths.
Any clubs with chrome damage.
Shafts with excessive bag wear or paint scratches.
Aftermarket re-shaft work does not increase the value of your trade.
If a club is deemed unfit for resale, we reserve the right to refuse it and return it to you, or make you an offer based on the circumstances.
Note: Purchase amount must be greater than or equal to your trade-in amount. If your trade-in value is more than your purchase value, the difference will be given as a store credit. No cash or credit card refunds.
Step 2 - Place your order
At the time of your purchase, inform our customer service department that you want to take advantage of the Trade-In Program. You can do this by calling us @ 248-335-8095 or emailing our customer service department. Please include your order number and trade item(s). You will be charged the full price of your purchase at this time. Most orders ship within 24-48 hours. We will accept credit card orders only. Also the item carlstrade must be added to your cart to alert the processing staff of your trade-in.
Step 3 - Send in your clubs
Follow the easy-to-understand instructions that will be enclosed with your new items upon delivery. In most cases, your clubs can be sent back in the box your order came in. A PRE-PAID UPS LABEL WILL BE INCLUDED INSIDE OF YOUR DELIVERED PACKAGE IF YOU ADD THE "CARLS TRADE-IN" ITEM TO YOUR CART UPON CHECKOUT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST WHICH WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE OVERALL TRADE-IN VALUE. Package your clubs in a protective manner, and place the Order Number and address label on the outside of the box and send it back to us!
Trade-ins will be processed within 3-4 business days of receipt. After your clubs are evaluated for grade, model and condition, a credit will be issued to your credit card. If there are any discrepancies, you will be contacted via email or phone.
