A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 
 
The “CARL’S GOLFLAND 67th ANNIVERSARY” SWEEPSTAKES (“Sweepstakes”) starts at 
12:01 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on 7/21/25 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on 8/10/25 for 
online entry (“Online Entry Period”) and ends in-store at the Sponsor’s (defined below) 
participating retail locations at local store closing on 8/10/25 with both methods of entry as detailed 
below.  The sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Carl’s Golfland Inc., 1976 S. Telegraph Road, Bloomfield 
Hills, MI 48302 (the “Sponsor”).  The Sweepstakes shall be subject to these “Official Rules”, and 
by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein.  Certain 
restrictions may apply. 
 
ELIGIBILITY: THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 
FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND CANADA (EXCEPT 
THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC), TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF 
ENTRY DATE.  Employees and their immediate family members (specifically defined as a parent, 
sibling, child or grandparent) of Sponsor, West Coast Marketing, a division of The Susquehanna hat 
Co. (“West Coast Marketing”), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, divisions, 
advertising, promotion and public relations agencies, and their respective officers, directors, 
employees, agents, independent contractors, representatives and agencies, (collectively, the 
“Sweepstakes Entities”) and those living in the household of same (whether related or not) are not 
eligible to enter or win.  This Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions, 
the Province of Quebec and all overseas military installations and where prohibited or restricted by 
law.    
            
HOW TO ENTER VIA THE INTERNET: During the Online Entry Period, you may enter online 
by logging on to the website at  www.carlsgolfland.com  (the “Entry Site”) and following the 
directions for Sweepstakes entry; providing your name, street address, city, state/province, zip/postal 
code, country, daytime telephone number, date of birth, your email address and clicking the Submit 
button. By completing the foregoing to a successful conclusion, you will receive one (1) entry in the 
Sweepstakes (“Online Entry”).  ALL ONLINE ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 
P.M. EDT ON 8/10/25. 
 
HOW TO ENTER AT PARTICIPATING CARL’S GOLFLAND RETAIL LOCATIONS:  
Beginning at store opening on 7/21/25 and continuing until the close of business on 8/10/25 you may 
enter by accessing the Entry Site scanning QR codes (“QR Codes”) in the store and following the 
directions for entry (“QR Code Entry”).  QR CODE ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 
CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON 8/10/25 AT PARTICIPATING RETAIL LOCATIONS.
 
Online Entry and QR Code Entry may be referred to hereafter individually as an “Entry” and in the 
plural as “Entries”.  Each such individual submitting such Entry may be referred to hereafter as an 
“Entrant”. 
 
ONLY ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON AND/OR EMAIL ADDRESS WILL BE ACCEPTED 
FOR THIS SWEEPSTAKES REGARDLESS OF METHOD(S) OF ENTRY. 
 
The Sweepstakes Entities and any and all Internet server(s) and access provider(s), and each of their 
respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, retailers and advertising and promotional 
agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively, 
“Releasees”) are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate Entry information; human errors; 
technical malfunctions; failures, omissions, interruptions, deletions or defects of any telephone 
network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software, including 
without limitation any injury or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or 
resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes; inability to access the Entry Site or any other web 
page, or QR Codes; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Entries; 
data that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to telephone, computer or 
electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on telephone lines or the Internet or any web site 
(including the Entry Site) or for any other reason whatsoever; Entries or mail that is late, lost, stolen, 
misdirected, mutilated, or postage due; typographical, printing or other errors; or any combination 
thereof.  For purposes of this Sweepstakes, an Entry is "received" online when the Sponsor's server 
records the Entry information. Proof of sending (such as an automated computer receipt confirming 
Entry or "thanks for entering" message) does not constitute proof of actual receipt of an Entry for 
purposes of this Sweepstakes.  Proof of entering information at the Entry Site or at a QR Code is not 
considered proof of delivery or receipt.  Illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced and duplicate 
Entries will be disqualified.  All Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be 
acknowledged or returned.  False, fraudulent or deceptive Entries or acts shall render Entrants 
ineligible.  By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these 
Official Rules.  The Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of 
the State of Michigan, United States.  By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants hereby submit to the 
jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts of the State of Michigan, United States and 
waive the right to have disputes arising out of the subject matter hereof adjudicated in any other 
forum.  The information obtained via the Entry will be used by Sponsor and its affiliates for 
marketing purposes. Sponsor and its affiliates would like to use this information to contact you either 
by mail or email with updates about special promotions or offers. If you prefer not to receive updates, 
do not check the appropriate box online.  Any Entry information collected from the Sweepstakes 
shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by Entrants at the time of the Entry, 
with these Official Rules and with the Sponsor’s Online Privacy Policy, which can be accessed at the 
Entry Site. 
 
WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible 
Entries on or about 8/18/25 by West Coast Marketing, an independent judging organization whose 
decisions are and shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  Potential 
prize winners will be notified by email and/or telephone by 8/25/25 and depending on the value of 
the prize won, will be required to execute and return either a notarized Affidavit of 
Eligibility/Release of Liability, an IRS W-9 form and where legal, a Publicity Release form (U.S. 
prize winner) or a Declaration of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release (Canadian prize 
winner) within ten (10) days of date of issuance.  Canadian winners will also be required to correctly 
answer, without assistance of any kind, a timed mathematical skill-testing question administered by 
telephone or email. If applicable, each prize winner’s travel companion (or prize winner if travel 
companion is the minor child or ward of the prize winner) will also be required to complete and 
return an executed Release of Liability form within this same 10-day time period.  
 
Failure to return all required forms within this stated time period, or to comply with any other 
provision herein, may result in the applicable winner being disqualified and an alternate winner may 
(at Sponsor’s sole discretion), be selected.  If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable 
for any reason, the prize may (at Sponsor’s sole discretion) be awarded to an alternate winner in a 
subsequent random drawing.   
 
All Federal, state, provincial and local tax liabilities are the responsibility of the winners.   
 
ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning a prize in the Sweepstakes are determined by the total 
number of eligible Entries received and are equal regardless of method of Entry.   
 
PRIZES: There are sixteen (16) prizes available to be awarded in the Sweepstakes as follows: 
 
1. Trip to Pebble Beach Resorts* for 2: Prize consists of a trip for prize winner and one (1) travel 
companion which includes: (i) roundtrip coach-class airfare for two (2) from a major 
commercial airport near winner’s home (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to 
Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) selected at the sole discretion of Sponsor; (ii) three (3) 
consecutive nights’ accommodation (single standard room, double occupancy, room and tax 
only) at The Lodge at Pebble Beach; (iii) a $500 travel stipend for incidentals; and (iv) three 
(3) rounds of golf (with only one (1) round on Pebble Beach, 1 on Spy Glass Hill and 1 on 
Spanish Bay. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of this prize is $10,000.00 USD; 
(approximately $13,627.18 CAD). 
  
2.Carl’s Golfland Ultimate Fitting and Golf Experience: Prize consists of a trip for prize winner 
and one (1) travel companion which includes: (i) roundtrip coach-class airfare for two (2) from 
a major commercial airport near winner’s home (as determined by Sponsor in its sole 
discretion) to a Michigan airport selected at the sole discretion of the Sponsor; (ii) two (2) 
consecutive nights’ accommodation (single standard room, double occupancy, room and tax 
only) at a hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion; (iii) a full bag fitting in the 
Launch Pad Fitting Center in Bloomfield Hills, MI only for the winner; and (iv) a set of clubs 
determined by the fitting results only for the winner.  The ARV of this prize is $7,500.00 USD; 
(approximately $10,221.17 CAD).

16.Titleist* 1-year supply of balls (define as winner’s choice of six (6) dozen Titleist balls) - ARV is $330.00 USD (approximately $449.75 CAD). 
 
The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in this Sweepstakes is $28,099.95 USD; (approximately 
$38,295.36. CAD).  Prizes may be awarded in the form of gift card codes. Such prizes are subject to 
all terms and conditions for gift card usage as detailed at  www.carlsgolfland.com . Select prizes will 
be awarded in the form of prize credit at sole discretion of Sponsor. 
 
Note: The actual value of each travel prize may vary depending on city of departure, dates and times 
of travel, airfare fluctuations and accommodation charges at the time of travel bookings. Therefore, 
the actual value of the travel prize awarded may be lower or higher at the time it is fulfilled. Any 
difference between actual value and stated ARV will not be awarded.  Any costs associated with 
prize receipt and/or use that are not expressly stated above are not included in the prize and are the 
responsibility solely of the prize winner and his/her travel companion. Such costs may include, 
without limitation, any ground transportation, any unspecified state or local taxes or government 
surcharges or fees, including, but not limited to, airport fees, trip and travel insurance and premiums, 
excursions, meals, drinks, incidentals, gratuities, telephone calls, charges for changing dates or other 
personal costs and expenses not specified herein, and are the sole responsibility of the prize winner 
and his or her travel companion.   

Important Prize Details: Only one (1) prize per person will be awarded.  No substitution by a winner 
of winner’s prize shall be allowed. All aspects of all prizes are at the sole discretion of Sponsor. All 
aspects of a travel prize, including, but not limited to, specific airline(s), flights, hotel and (when 
applicable) golf courses played are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Each prize winner and his or 
her travel companion (if applicable) will be required to travel on identical itineraries including the 
same departure city, departure date, destination and return date.  Background checks of prize winners 
and their respective travel companions (if applicable) may be performed at the sole discretion of 
Sponsor. Negative information may result in a prize winner and/or travel companion being declared 
as ineligible to participate in a prize trip or any element therein at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner 
of a trip must provide a minimum of forty-five (45) days advance notice of the desired departure date 
and all travel must be completed within one (1) year of awarding or the prize will be forfeited in its 
entirety and may (at Sponsor’s sole discretion) be awarded to an alternate. Travel prize winners and 
their respective travel companions will each be required to provide valid government-issued photo 
ID (Real ID or valid passport may be required) at time of travel as required by airline, airport, hotel 
and TSA/government authorities and follow all TSA, airline, hotel and governmental Covid protocol 
regulations and requirements.  A valid credit card or cash deposit by a travel prize winner may be 
required by the applicable hotel at time of check-in for incidentals. If accepting a prize trip, each 
prize winner and his or her travel companion will be required to follow all Sponsor and state and 
local governmental Covid-compliance regulations and requirements during the trip. If a travel prize 
winner elects to travel or partake in a trip with no travel companion, no additional compensation will 
be awarded.  All aspects of a prize trip must be taken together and cannot be taken separately. No 
changes will be made to travel details once any element(s) of the travel arrangements have been 
booked except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All airline tickets issued in conjunction with a prize are 
not eligible for frequent flyer miles or any other promotional benefit. Sponsor or its designee will not 
replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates or similar items once they are in a 
prize winner’s possession, or in the possession of the applicable prize winner’s travel companion.  
Prize travel is subject to capacity controls, availability, holidays and other blackout dates and certain 
other restrictions and conditions, which may include a Saturday night stay, all of which are subject to 
change.  If a prize winner lives within two hundred (200) miles of prize destination, (as determined 
by Sponsor) air transportation will not be provided and no additional prize element substituted. 
Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for changes in any element of a prize schedule. No 
stopovers are permitted on tickets issued as part of a prize; if a stopover occurs, the applicable prize 
will terminate and full fare will be charged from the stopover point for the remaining trip segment(s), 
including the return. Once hotel and flight arrangements have been confirmed, no changes will be 
allowed except by Sponsor at its sole discretion. 
 
If necessary, due to unavailability of a prize for any reason, a prize of comparable value will be 
substituted at the sole discretion of Sponsor.  Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable 
for cash. Prizes may not be sold.  No substitution for a prize by a winner will be allowed. Except 
where prohibited, all Federal, state, provincial, local or other tax liabilities, if any are the sole 
responsibility of the winners. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited 
by law) to use the winner’s name, address (city and state/province only), voice, photograph, likeness, 
biographical information and statements for advertising, promotional or publicity purposes without 
additional compensation or limitation.   
 
Unclaimed prizes will remain the property of the Sponsor and will not be awarded.

 
In the event a prize winner or his/her travel companion (if applicable) engages in behavior during the 
prize travel (or part thereof) that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is obnoxious or 
threatening, illegal, or that is intended to threaten or harass any other person, or that in any way 
disparages or adversely affects the reputation, image, and/or customer goodwill of Sponsor or any of 
its services, products, trademarks, service marks, or logos, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate 
such prize early, and remove such prize winner and/or his/her travel companion from prize event(s) 
with no further obligations or compensation whatsoever to said prize winner (which may, in 
Sponsor’s sole discretion, result in such prize winner’s disqualification from the Sweepstakes and 
forfeiture of any (and/or all) prize.  In the event a prize winner or his/her travel companion (if 
applicable) engages in behavior during the applicable prize travel that (as determined by Sponsor in 
its sole discretion) is illegal, tortious, or subjects such prize winner and/or his or her travel 
companion to arrest or detention, Sponsor shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, 
judgments or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by such prize winner and/or 
his or her travel companion as a result of such conduct.  
 
POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR, WHOSE 
DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE 
SWEEPSTAKES.  AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF A PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL 
ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED 
THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.    
 
Warranty Disclaimer: All prizes are awarded “AS IS”. Any and all warranties for the prizes are 
contained in the manufacturer’s and/or service provider’s warranty. Except as otherwise provided in 
these Official Rules, Releasees make no warranties, representations or guarantees, expressed or 
implied, in fact or in law, respecting the performance or use of the prizes, including, without 
limitation, quality, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose, and the winner shall look 
solely to the manufacturer and/or service provider for such warranties, if any.  Furthermore, no 
responsibilities are accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing, or acts of any 
government or authority. 
 
LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY/RELEASE:  
 
By entering this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree that the Releasees shall not be liable for personal 
injuries, death, damages, expenses or costs or losses of any kind resulting from participation or 
inability to participate in this Sweepstakes or acceptance of or use or inability to use a prize or parts 
thereof including, without limitation, claims, suits, injuries, losses and damages related to personal 
injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or 
portrayal in a false light (whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, 
tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.  Winners release the Releasees from any and all 
liability and responsibility with respect to the prize (including any property loss, damage, personal 
injury or death).  Winners acknowledge that the aforementioned individuals and entities have neither 
made nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or 
implied, in fact or in law, related to the prizes. 
 
Releasees shall not be liable to a winner or to any other person for failure to supply a prize or any 
part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any 
governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or  
request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, 
explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, pandemic, labor dispute or strike (whether 
legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, 
civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, network or computer problems, internet problems, hacking, 
computer viruses, unauthorized computer access, tampering, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s 
sole control.  Releasees shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or 
substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carrier(s), hotel(s), or other transportation 
companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers 
including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same.  
Releasees’ legal responsibility for loss or damage to baggage shall be strictly governed by the 
Warsaw Convention and the other applicable conditions of carriage set forth on the passengers’ 
tickets. 
 
HOW WILL DISPUTES BE HANDLED?: Each Entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, 
claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes 
awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial 
proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the State of Michigan; (2) any and all 
claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs 
associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no 
circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to 
claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual 
out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. 
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of 
these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrant and Sponsor in connection with this 
Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of 
Michigan, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether 
of the State of Michigan or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of 
any jurisdiction other than the State of Michigan.

WHICH), 22287 Mulholland Hwy., #396, Calabasas, CA 91302.  Residents of Canada and Vermont 
only may omit the return postage on their Official Rules requests.  Official Rules are also available at 
the participating Carl’s Golfland retail locations and at the Entry Site during the Online Entry Period.
