We have options for men, women, kids, beginners and seasoned players at every budget tier. Dive in to the Christmas golf gift guide and start your search to be the best gift giver this season.

How to Choose the Best Christmas Gift for Golfers

Tip 1: Know their skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)

Knowing what their skill level is can help you narrow down your choices. If they’re just a beginner, then you probably don’t need the most advanced equipment or accessories. If they’re a die hard, then you definitely want to make sure you know their preferences and tendencies with brands.

With golf clubs, there is a large variety that are designed for different golfers. Buying a really good golfer a club that’s made for a beginner would be a bad idea. The opposite is true, as well, and can impact their performance.

So, your first task is to find out what kind of golfer they are and what brands they like.

Tip 2: Stick to consumables they’ll actually use

If you’re not sure what level golfer they are, or what kind of golf clubs they like, and don’t want to ruin the surprise, then stick to accessories and consumables that won’t impact their performance.

You can buy towels, gloves, tees, apparel, speakers, socks and shoes with little repercussion if it’s not the normal brands they would pick. There are definitely preferences and size issues with golf shoes, but for the most part, you can find something that you think they would like from a looks standpoint.

Every golfer needs tees and gloves, so you can’t go wrong there.

Tip 3: Avoid major equipment without their input

If you know that they want golf clubs, then ask them what their preferences are. You can narrow it down by the type of club they want.

If they’re asking for a putter, ask if they like blades or mallets. If they have a particular brand that they prefer, what size putter they typically use or if there’s a model that they have had their eye on. The typical specs for a putter would involve length, loft and lie angle. If you can figure those measurements out ahead of time, you can help yourself out in the end.

For drivers, ask them what they currently use now and if there’s a newer model that they’ve wanted to get. What loft do they play, what shaft do they use and what is their typical miss off the tee.

With that information, you can at least make an educated guess as to what to buy. If you’re still not comfortable, then go with something else.

Tip 4: Personalization adds a thoughtful touch at minimal extra cost

There are a few companies that allow you to personalize the products that you buy. That can be from colors to stamping or initials, all giving that personal touch and custom look.

For instance, Cleveland allows you to customize the RTZ 2 wedges with paint fill on the logo, the loft number and the bounce number. You can also get custom engraving stamped onto the wedge and select between 11 different ferrules.

Vokey wedges allows for stamping and engraving, as well as paint fill similar to Cleveland on the loft, bounce, grind and BV wings.

Srixon offers similar custom options on its ZXi line of irons, TaylorMade has MyTaylorMade, Callaway has Callaway Customs and plenty of other brands will allow you to make their clubs your own.

Tip 5: Layer the Budget

Don’t feel like you need to break the bank to get an excellent golf gift. Finding a smaller stocking stuffer in addition to a standout gift is always a winning formula.

Pairing a hat with a polo, or some tees with shoes won’t break the bank, but will show that you put effort into the decision. Some options for the stocking stuffers could include a club brush from Caddy Splash, a Club Glove stiff arm club protector for a travel bag, a headcover, a valuables pouch, ball markers, divot tools, gloves or a travel mug.

Tip 6: When in doubt, give them a Carl’s Golfland gift card

If it all just seems too overwhelming or you can’t find the perfect gift, the right decision could just be a Carl’s Golfland gift card. Take the guess work out of it and give them the power to decide on their own.

If they spend the gift card in-store, our knowledgeable staff will be able to walk them through the decision-making process no matter what they’re shopping for. Our club specialists can help them find the right clubs, our apparel staff can help them pick the perfect outfit and our shoe experts can get them into the best pair.

The Best Golf Christmas Gifts of 2026 (Our Expert Picks)

Our staff has their favorite choices that we have curated into an easy golf gift guide for you to shop from. The list is broken down by category with some of our most popular items and a few that our staff thinks you should check out.

Tech & Gadgets

Rangefinders are always a good golf gift as they make the game easier for everyone. Rather than having to guess how far away you are from the hole, a rangefinder tells you exactly what the distance is and some can even track your score and factor in slope and weather.

The Bushnell Golf Tour V7 Shift rangefinder is an excellent option. It can factor in slope, which equates the difference in distance if you’re up or downhill from the pin. It has a sharp dual color OLED display, improved PinSeeker with Visual Jolt that creates a vibration and a flashing red ring when locked on the pin.

Garmin has the Approach Z30 rangefinder that has six times magnification with distance to pin up to 400 yards away. An image stabilization makes it easier to find the flag and lock onto it, the PlaysLike distance adjusts yardage for uphill and downhill and the viewfinder can also tell you distance to front and back of the green.

If you’re looking for a lower price point, Blue Tees has a few options, including the Series 3 Max+ golf rangefinder. It factors in slope, has advanced flag lock and pulse vibration, as well as active tracking which allows you to know your distances while moving and looking through the lens.

If the golfer you’re shopping for enjoys watches or wearables, there are plenty of options in the golf GPS watch category, as well.

If you’re looking for a high-end option, Garmin’s Approach S70 1.2 inch golf watch is an incredible option. It comes with a ceramic bezel with scratch-resistant lens, virtual caddie that provides a club recommendation, hazard view and green contours to help you read the greens.

Garmin has other options at lower price points, as well, including the Approach S50 and the Approach S12.

Bushnell has the iON Elite GPS golf watch that comes equipped with a color touchscreen display, 38,000+ preloaded courses, slope compensation and dynamic green mapping with front, center and back distances.

In addition to GPS electronics, personal launch monitors have become more accessible and more price friendly than ever before.

Having a portable launch monitor that can be used inside or outside to measure your analytics can make for better practice. Blue Tees Rainmaker portable golf launch monitor has 20 performance metrics that are displayed in a flexible tile grid and includes ball speed, carry, spin, smash factor, launch angle, total distance, attack angle and more.

The Rainmaker has practice mode, swing speed more and target distance and has radar golf ball compatibility.

Shot Scope’s LM1 launch monitor has been incredibly popular given its accuracy and attractive price point. It has a 3.5-inch color screen that can be used indoors or outdoors and allows for multiple practice modes.

The LM1 displays ball speed, club speed, smash factor, carry and total distance and has a five-hour battery life.

Golf Balls

A golf ball is the only piece of equipment that is used on every single shot. It also happens to be a piece of equipment that can get lost very easily, which is why it always makes for a great gift.

The tour level golf balls are going to bring more performance, but they are also going to come at a higher price point.

Titleist’s Pro V1 is one of the most played golf balls on the PGA Tour and comes in a variety of models depending on what the golfer needs. The Pro V1 model will have mid-flight, soft feel, low driver spin, low long iron spin and very high spin around the greens.

The Pro V1x will have a higher flight, firm feel, low driver spin, low iron spin and very high short game spin, while the Pro V1x Left Dash will have high flight, firmer feel, very low driver spin, very low iron spin and very high short game spin.

TaylorMade has its TP5 and TP5x golf balls, which are played by their Tour ambassadors. The TP5 has long driver distance, low driver spin, mid flight, mid iron spin, highest wedge spin and soft feel. The TP5x, however, has long distance, lower driver spin, mid-flight low iron spin, high wedge spin and solid feel.

Callaway’s golf ball is the Chrome Tour family, which has Chrome Tour with medium feel, low long game spin, high short game spin, high workability and is a four-piece ball. The Chrome Tour X is medium firm feel, mid long game spin, maximum short game spin, high workability and also a four-piece ball. Chrome Tour Triple Diamond is medium firm, low long game spin, medium high short game spin, medium high workability, and is a four-piece ball.

Callaway also offers the Chrome Soft golf ball, which is soft feel, low long game spin, high short game spin, medium high workability and comes in a three-piece configuration.

Each manufacturer has a similar model breakdown with Bridgestone, Srixon, Wilson, Mizuno, and the other brands all manufacturing golf balls for different players.

The golf balls in the lower price point will not have as much performance built into them, but are still good options if you’re not looking to spend a ton on balls.

If you’re looking to pay less or are a higher handicap golfer that doesn’t want to spend on performance, you can try Callaway’s Supersoft or Warbird. Bridgestone has e6 and e12 golf balls, while Srixon has Q-Star Tour and Q-Star Ultispeed.

Wilson also has quite a few options in this category with Duo Soft, Triad and Ultra Distance.

Titleist makes some outstanding lower price point golf balls, as well, including AVX, Tour Soft, TruFeel and Velocity.

Golf Bags & Accessories

A golf bag is an overlooked golf gift, considering that a bag is used to carry all of your clubs and there are so many options with a variety of uses.

If your golfer likes to walk, you can opt for a smaller carry bag, or a stand bag that makes for an easy round of walking. The manufacturers have been able to make some of their stand bags ultra lightweight and versatile at the same time.

You can’t go wrong with a stand bag.

If your golfer mainly takes a car, however, you might want to look at a hybrid or cart bag that is built with a bigger footprint to fit on a golf cart and not slide around. You will get more storage, typically, in a cart bag and more room for your belongings and accessories.

Travel bags are another category that can get overlooked if your golfer likes to travel. Having a sturdy travel bag that will help protect their clubs is an important piece of luggage.

Club Glove, Sun Mountain, Bag Boy and OGIO all have options for travel bags. Some with wheels, some with soft covers, some with hard covers and some with extra protection to make sure your clubs don’t get damaged in transit. It can be an excellent investment to keep your clubs safe.

Headcovers are another accessory to look at for a gift. They can show off your personality or help you coordinate your bag if you’re looking for something fun.

Daphne’s headcovers have animal style headcovers that range from dogs to peacocks to lions, pigs, wolves, squirrels, sloths and more. They are a popular item, especially if you’re buying for an animal lover.

G/FORE has some vibrant options with driver, fairway wood and putter covers that are designed with bright colors and designs. The brand offers premium headcovers that do range on the high end of the price spectrum, but are of the highest quality.

Golf Apparel

There’s never a bad time to buy golf apparel as a gift, and Carl’s Golfland has one of the largest selections of apparel from a large number of brands.

Carl’s Golfland caries Lilly Pulitzer, TravisMathew, adidas, ellsworth & ivey, G/FORE, PUMA, Johnnie-O, Nike, Jordan, Peter Millar, Rhone, Smith & Quinn, Williams Athletic Club, IBKUL and more for women. If you’re buying men’s apparel, Carl’s Golfland carries adidas, B. Draddy, Peter Millar, Galvin Green, G/FORE, Barstool, Breezy, Nike, Mizzen+Main, Johnnie-O, Jordan, FootJoy, TravisMathew, PUMA, Straight Down, Rhone, Sun Mountain, Under Armour and more.

Whether you’re looking for performance polos for comfort and breathability, or fashion pieces that go well on or off the course, Carl’s Golfland has options for you to get the best gift.

Another option to think about when shopping for apparel is outerwear and waterproof jackets. Outerwear, including hoodies and lightweight jackets, can be versatile and worn on or off the course. It’s a great option that doesn’t have to be considered a just golf gift and can be used at any time.

Training Aids

What golfer doesn’t want to get better? Training aids can make for great practice tools to try to improve your game, depending on which area you’re working on.

For putting, PuttOUT has a mirror and adjustable gate set that helps practice putting path and alignment. PuttOUT also has an AirBreak golf putting mat that allows you to adjust the slope and break of an artificial putting mat to simulate putts that break to the left or right.

Perfect Practice also has the V5 putting mat with two-hole training that measures over nine-feet in length.

Outside of putting, you can opt for practice mats to take full swings, nets to hit balls into or alignment aids to help ensure golfers are lined up and aimed properly.

Gift Cards

If you’re still feeling overwhelmed or just can’t make a decision on a present, you can go for a gift card from Carl’s Golfland. It’s the ultimate gift that can be used for apparel, clubs, balls, gloves, PGA lessons, fittings and more.

You don’t need to stress over the decision, when a gift card could make things that much easier and everyone wins.

Golf Christmas Presents for Every Budget

When you think golf gifts, you don’t need to break the bank if that doesn’t fall into your budget. There are presents for every range that would mean something to any golfer you buy for.

Stocking stuffers are a necessity and can help make for a perfect finishing piece to any gift. Add in tees, ball markers, gloves, golf socks or divot tools for gifts that can come in under $30 a piece.

Go with golf balls, premium gloves, golf towel sets or putting aids if you want to stay around the $25 to $100 range. With more premium gifts, including GPS watches, rangefinders, golf bags and some apparel, you’re looking at $100 to $400.

Beyond that, if you have a larger budget, you can opt for a full club fitting experience, premium golf bags, high-end footwear and custom club sets for the golfer you’re shopping for.

Golf Christmas Gifts for Him

Whether you’re looking for the perfect golf Christmas gifts for Dad, brothers, sons, husbands or boyfriends, there are quite a few male specific options.

In apparel, you can go with performance polos, shorts, pants or outerwear options from adidas, B. Draddy, Barstool, Breezy, Callaway, FootJoy, Galvin Green, G/FORE, Greyson, Johnnie-O, Jordan, Mizzen+Main, Nike, Peter Millar, PING, Puma, Rhone, Straight Down, Sun Mountain, TravisMathew and Under Armour among other brands.

Polos are a great choice, but hoodies, pullovers and quarter-zips are in-style and can make for a great outfit. You can then pair the outfit with some golf shoes with over 1,200 styles available from the top brands at Carl’s Golfland.

You can search for spiked or spikeless, and look for more traditional golf shoes or sporty athletic golf shoes depending on what your golfer likes.

Gadgets are never a bad thing and some of the coolest gadgets are in golf. Handheld GPS rangefinders, launch monitors, magnetic speakers and watches can all help golfers in their round, but can also make for a fun gift.

Personalized golf balls can also make for a good gift for the golfer you’re buying for. Whether it’s initials, funny phrases or something personal, you can create a custom gift that means something to the recipient.

Plenty of manufacturers offer customization, some with up to three lines of text, or with logos and characters.

Golf Christmas Gifts for Her

There are plenty of options for the women golfers in your life, as well. You can be shopping for golf Christmas gifts for Mom, or your sister, daughter, wife or girlfriend and have myriad decisions to make when finding the right gift.

Looking at women’s apparel can be daunting, especially because Carl’s Golfland has over 35 brands to choose from. To start, try to break it down by what category you’re looking for to narrow down the options.

If you start with tops, you can narrow it down even further with polos, vests, hoodies, outerwear, sweaters and rain gear. The Carl’s Golfland website makes it easy to narrow those categories down by type of apparel and brand.

If you’re looking at bottoms, decide if you want pants, shorts, skirts or skorts and go from there.

A lot of the pieces available now can be worn on the course or off the course and can make for good fashion statements. A good fit can make the whole round, and a bad one can ruin it.

Another great option that can go with the outfit is shoes. Women’s golf shoes have come a long way and there is a variety to choose from. To narrow down your search, start with spiked or spikeless. Once you know that, you can search for traditional or fashion and get your list to a manageable lineup.

Adidas has golf shoes that are built for performance, but also have some that are built for fashion and style. The Gazelle spikeless shoe looks very similar to a regular shoe and can be worn on or off the course with very little transition.

The MC70, however, looks more like a traditional golf shoe and would most likely only work for on the course.

FootJoy has its Quantum shoe that is built for comfort, and the Premiere Series that is a traditional styling and comes with spikes.

Outside of shoes, there are women’s specific golf gloves available, as well. Some even come with a spot for a wedding ring and nails to poke through the glove without tearing.

FootJoy and G/FORE offer gloves in multiple colors from red, orange, blue, yellow, green and black that could help complement an outfit or shoes in a subtle way.

The GPS or rangefinder option goes across gender as everyone needs to know how far they are from the pin. A rangefinder can be versatile, too, as it doesn’t have to be just a Christmas gift. It fits with any occasion and any golfer would be impressed to receive one for the holidays.

Golf Gift Ideas for Kids

Getting kids into golf is one of the best gifts of all, so what better way to encourage that than with a Christmas gift to help their golf journey.

If they don’t own any clubs, Callaway, COBRA, Mizuno, PING, TaylorMade, Titleist, Tour Edge, U.S. Kids Golf and Wilson all make package sets that can get them started with a few different price points. These package sets usually come with a golf bag, as well, so it’s a one and done purchase to get them started.

Some brands, including U.S. Kids Golf, sell individual clubs, as well, and offer options based on the child’s height to keep them in the right size. PING’s Prodi G clubs even come with an option to size up one time for free if they outgrow the clubs as kids.

Most brands will also have a size and age guide to help you figure out which clubs would fit best for them. They also have different set makeups that are created for juniors depending on their skill level. If they’re just starting out, they probably don’t need as many clubs as a junior who is more competitive.

Having the option to purchase fewer clubs can be nice as the junior tests the game and figures out if they like it and want to keep pursuing it.

A junior will also need golf balls and there are some fun options out there to choose from. Disney and Marvel both make balls with characters, including Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisey, Goofy, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Storm Troopers and Yoda among others.

They will likely need a glove, as well, to protect their hand, and there are youth sized gloves to make it comfortable. FootJoy and U.S. Kids both offer glove sizes for juniors that are great options for a budget friendly gift.

Another great option for juniors is golf lessons at Carl’s Golfland. We offer group clinics and lessons or individual options that can help your junior golfer enjoy the game and learn it the right way.
