The new Srixon ZXi Woods

January 13, 2025

Srixon’s exclusive i-FLEX technology is at the heart of its new drivers, fairway metals and hybrids lineup. The company sought out to improve on past iterations of woods and has come to market with its all new ZXi line.

The i-FLEX technology brings a completely redesigned face thickness pattern that optimizes energy transfer from the club face to the ball.

“With i-FLEX technology inserted into the ZXi woods, we were able to unlock an extra level of performance we’ve never had before,” Srixon’s Vice President of Research and Development, Jeff Brunski, said. “The flexibility of these clubs enables a more efficient transfer of energy, which in turn, generates more power at impact. With every swing, golfers will be able to feel the added strength and responsiveness of these new woods and see their shots go farther.”

Srixon engineers used an all-new titanium, Ti72S, which is stronger, lighter and very durable. The unique shape of i-FLEX is achieved by a thin face center that is supported by thickened areas on the heel and toe, which creates optimal performance for the golfer.

Drivers

Srixon ZXi

This line of ZXi drivers will include three models, starting with the ZXi, the core offering from Srixon. It combines what the company says is blistering ball speed with exceptional MOI while keeping spin relatively low.

Along with i-FLEX face, the ZXi features two adjustable sole weights in the heel and toe that will allow you to impact ball flight in either a fade or draw bias. The driver will also feature a new, 1.5-degree hosel sleeve that lets you impact loft, lie and face angle in 12 different positions.

Another new addition to the drivers is a laser face milling to the surface that helps stabilize spin and add forgiveness in wet conditions.

Srixon ZXi LS

The ZXi LS is a low spin option for players with aggressive swings who are looking for lower ball flights and added distance. The LS model has two adjustable weights in the front and rear to allow you to dial in your optimal spin characteristics.

In addition to the adjustable hosel and the i-FLEX Face, Srixon also has the rebound frame in its drivers, including the LS, that amplifies energy transfer at impact. It uses two flex zones, instead of just one, that helps to increase power and ball speeds.

Srixon ZXi Max

Finally, the ZXi Max is Srixon’s highest MOI driver in the lineup and has one adjustable weight placed low in the rear to help maximize MOI. It will have a draw bias and will be the highest launching of the three drivers.

Fairway woods and hybrids

Following in the footsteps of the drivers, Srixon wanted to bring adjustability to its fairway woods and hybrids with the 1.5-degree adjustable hosel, as well.

“Having full adjustability options available in our fairways and hybrids has been a long time coming,” Brunski said. “Now, players have every option available to make their ZXi woods truly their own, based on how they like to play and what ball-flight they prefer to see.”

Srixon ZXi woods

In the fairway woods, the three plus and three-wood use a strong, lightweight carbon crown that positions mass low, maximizing COR. It features a stepped crown design that lowers the clubheads’ center of gravity for higher and longer shots. The five-wood and seven-wood do not include a stepped crown, as they prioritized improved spin and accuracy over distance.

The fairway woods also have a new design in 2025 with a leading edge shape change for a flatter, more grounded look on the toe side.

Srixon ZXi hybrids

The hybrids are offering a larger head shape, as well as the adjustable hosel, and faster ball speeds. The option to adjust the lie, loft and face angle can come in handy with hybrids as there is a tendency to miss left with that specific club. So, having the ability to change the settings can help dial in the hybrid for your game.

The ZXi hybrids will have an increased head size and volume and larger toe and back sides, as well to help with forgiveness.

Overall, the line of drivers, fairway woods and hybrids has been redesigned to give you more confidence, more consistency and help dial in your game with all-new options across the board.
