Vokey Design is offering its new, limited-edition Oil Can finish on its SM10 wedges. The newly refined finish is a throwback to Vokey’s popular Oil Can finishes of the past, now with a modern take.
The Oil Can look is applied through a PVD treatment, which gives it the rich copper color while minimizing reflectivity. The finish is also highly durable and is paired with a custom copper-colored Golf Pride Z-Grip Cord grip.
“A player has to love their wedge when they look down at it, and finish plays a key role,” Bob Vokey said. “Having confidence in your wedge at address is hugely important.”
The look of the limited-edition wedges is remarkable and will definitely instill confidence.
Golfers will be able to personalize and customize the Oil Can wedges with eight unique toe engravings, two additional unique Oil Can-only toe engravings can be added to custom-ordered Oil Can wedges, as well. There are custom paint filling options, 10-character straight stamping and 15-characters around the toe.
All 27 in-line SM10 loft, bounce and grind combinations are available, as well, in both right and left-handed.
The Oil Can wedges are available for pre-sale at CarlsGolfland.com on March 18, and will be available globally on March 27.
