For Wilson, the new Dynapower line is brand defining. The Dawn of Different is how the company is tagging the clubs, embodying the belief that this is the start of a new frontier for Wilson.
From looks to feel and performance, Dynapower has a whole new blueprint that will help bring along that change.
“It propels us into a new level. I’ve said to golfers before, and media alike, and said, ‘2023 was the year of the golfer being surprised about Wilson and the performance and how good it was,’” Wilson Product Line Manager, Harry Nodwell, said. “And my response was, ‘In 2025, you should come to expect it. We’ve already got the technology there, we’ve got the innovation, but as we grow into 2025 and beyond, it’s going to be, you should come to expect how good this performs, how good it looks, the feel and everything about it is just going to be different from where we have been in the past.”
Nodwell said the company is lightyears ahead of where it used to be with a mindset of premium clubs for every golfer. Dynapower is the start to that new venture and Wilson believes it hit a home run.
Drivers and fairway metals
The new look starts with the drivers and the carbon pattern on the crown of the club. First impressions of the driver will inspire thoughts of luxury and a premium product.

“We just wanted to have the right amount of carbon showing, we wanted to have the right amount of tint to cover certain areas,” Nodwell said. “We just wanted the whole experience to be the ultra-premium experience that we can relate to the brand as a whole.”
The Dynapower drivers come in three different models with Carbon, LS and Max. Each driver will feature a new open hosel construction, where Wilson removed inefficient material from the hosel. That allows the face to flex more, resulting in a larger sweet spot.
Wilson also used artificial intelligence in the face with PKR-360, which has an increased number of optimizable face and body locations to help create a larger sweet spot and higher ball speeds.
The Carbon is the core offering from Wilson that will likely fit most golfers and anyone looking for a combination of workability and forgiveness. It has a swappable three-gram weight in the front and a nine-gram weight in the back that allows the golfer to customize launch and spin.
“The Carbon was designed to work the ball both ways with ease, have maximum forgiveness while being mid to lower spinning for the golfer. So, everything we’ve done in this driver with the face design, it’s going to have a different face compared to the LS, compared to the Max, because this golfer is going to be in and around the center (of the face), but also going to spray it around the heel and toe section from that center area,” Nodwell said. “So, what the AI allowed us to do, which we call PKR-360, it allows us to really enhance those areas and put mass behind a face section of the face and remove it, depending on where golfers strike.”
The LS is the low spin model that has a faster, more streamlined raised skirt and curved crown design to help reduce drag, and ultimately increasing clubhead speed. It’s a Tour inspired shape that has a deeper, more compact 445cc head.

“We wanted to make sure that for a golfer that’s going to be striking it relatively off the center and to drop that spin a little bit, we wanted the golfer to be able to have the confidence to never miss it left,” Nodwell said. “So, when you go after a shot, you can whale on one, you can go as hard as you can and never feel like you’re going to miss it left. And this has to do with bulge and roll, this is the way that we designed the face, more compact 445cc head, deeper face, it allows that golfer to just ooze confidence and swing the way they want to swing.”
The LS face will be more centered to have more pop off the middle, because this player won’t miss off-center as much as someone who fits into the Carbon or Max driver.
The Max driver is the most forgiving option in the lineup with stability driven shaping. Wilson increased front to back and heel to toe length to provide for high MOI. The Max is a draw biased driver, as well, with a 19-gram rear weight that allows golfers to dial in their left to right shot shaping.
“So, it’s going to be a little bit high spinning, a lot more forgiveness compared to the other two models,” Nodwell said. “But, what we really wanted to do is make sure that it was attractive to all markets. Because, we see our Tour guys gravitate towards the Carbon, some go to LS. So, it could be for anyone.”
The Fairway woods will come in the Carbon and Max options and also feature the PKR-360 artificial intelligence optimized face. The Carbon model will come with a lightweight carbon crown, while the Max has a thin-cast steel crown to distribute weight to get the center of gravity lower and farther back in the club.
The Max will also have a 12-gram rear weight that promotes higher ball flights and provides maximum forgiveness.
Irons
The newest Dynapower irons are available in the Dynapwr and Dynapwr Max, both providing a ton of forgiveness and a re-engineered club for complete performance.
Both irons will have the PKR-Cup, a new design that combines with the AI generated variable face technology to optimize ball speed and distance. They both have a low center of gravity and high MOI, as well as a velocity optimization channel in the sole that allows the face to flex for maximum ball speeds.

Dynapwr is a game improvement iron that has a hollow body construction and low center of gravity with high launch.
“We don’t feel that this has a big chunky hybrid iron look that we have in the past,” Nodwell said. “We feel that everything we’re doing is pushing it towards a better player. So, we’ve done all that and pushed it towards that golfer.”
The Max is a game improvement plus iron with more forgiveness that the Dynapwr. The Max has enhanced sound and feel with topology optimization that allowed Wilson to place mass and material throughout the head.
“The Max iron has the wider sole compared to the Dynapwr,” Nodwell said. “So, that golfer wants an iron to look like an iron. They want it to look like a premium iron. They don’t want to look like a beginner golfer.”
The irons aesthetically have some similar features as the driver and fairway metals with a hollow body design.
Whether you’re looking for new irons, drivers or fairway metals, the new Wilson Dynapower has a ton to offer from every aspect of the game. An updated, premium looked and packed full of technology and new innovations.
Wilson is utilizing the Dynapower line to not only launch the new clubs and help golfers perform at their best, but to help move the brand forward.
The Dawn of Different isn’t just a clever tagline. For Wilson, it’s a launch into a new mindset and new strategy.
“No longer are we a brand where it’s game improvement. We are pushing the best performance products for the best players in the world,” Nodwell said. “And that’s where we’re striving with Dynapower. This is just a smidge of what you’re going to come to see Wilson with innovation and premium looks moving forward from 2025 onwards.”
