XXIO Prime 13 Drivers, fairway woods and irons

March 5, 2025

XXIO knows exactly who its target demographic is and who the company makes clubs for.

That hyperfocus has cleared the path to create incredibly productive, premium and lightweight clubs for senior and female golfers to help gain distance and speed. The thought behind it is that their target demographic typically can use help with distance, speed and launch, so XXIO has set out to create the best product to accomplish that goal.

The brand has improved year after year on its offering and have now announced the latest iterations of its lineup of clubs with Prime 13.

The clubs are all ultralightweight, from the head to the shaft and have a draw-biased design to reduce distance loss and directional variation caused by slices. The new clubs have a cosmetic design inspired with the inspiration of beauty, vitality and strength.

Driver

XXIO Driver

The updated driver has new features to help with both distance and consistency, even on off-center strikes.

Through a precision milling pattern and face bulge, the company has built a driver that utilizes bulge and the gear effect to help hit straighter shots. The gear effect essentially works to correct ball trajectory on off-center shots and changes the ball flight depending on where it’s hit.

The XXIO Prime driver has a draw-biased bulge face to help find the fairway more often. The toe has a flatter bulge, while the center is moderate and the heel is more rounded. That shaping combined with the precision milling gives an optimal bulge and gear effect to help hit straighter shots when you miss the center of the face.

In addition, the BiFlex face allows for an expanded sweet spot to enhance ball speed. It also optimizes clubhead stiffness from heel to toe to enhance ball speed on center or off-center strikes.

The club also features Activwing, ridges on the crown of the driver that help generate aerodynamic forces to achieve more consistent clubhead delivery at impact. According to XXIO, Activwing helped increase distance by 1.8 yards on the driver compared to the previous model.

Keeping with the ultralightweight theme, the driver has a 35-gram shaft to increase swing speed.

Fairway metals and hybrids

XXIO hybrid

The fairway metals and hybrids are equipped with the BiFlex face, draw-biased bulge face and precision milling, but also have a cannon sole. The center of gravity is positioned low for optimal launch and distance and the cannon sole’s unique shape allows XXIO to place mass where needed.

There fairway metals also feature enlarged weight pads on the toe and help position to keep the center of gravity low.

Irons

The Prime irons are a four-piece construction iron with a titanium face for higher launch and incredible distance. The four-piece construction adds strength thanks to a thinner titanium face.

That combined with a low center of gravity and a unique rebound frame structure brings higher launch and incredible distance while still maintaining stability.

The irons have an L-shaped groove at the bottom of the iron body. The new grooves in the outer periphery of the clubhead improve face rebound for added ball speed and distance.

The irons will come in a hollow cavity design and now feature a 50-gram tungsten-nickel weight positions farther to the bottom of the sole than previous models.

All-in-all, XXIO has continued to serve its primary customer with its new offering, while also continuing to innovate and push the product into the future.
