The CODECHAOS shoe from adidas is always a showstopper and the company has released its 2025 iteration to market.
Adidas calls the shoe a disruptive performance spikeless shoe franchise and the 2025 version comes with a redesigned outsole and upper to provide more functionality to go with the prominent designs.
“Nearly five years ago, we made the bold move to introduce CODECHAOS when traditional spikeless models were saturating the market,” global footwear director at adidas golf, Masun Denison said in a release. “The impact this footwear had then and continues to have now is another proof point for us that golfers are continuing to look for spikeless performance in athletic and non-traditional silhouettes.”
Denison said in the release that CODECHAOS 25 is a milestone for the company with the improvements on the shoe over the past five years.
The shoe comes with either the BOA Fit System or a laced version and has multiple color options. You can choose all white or go with the bright colors with white, green, pink, grey and a splash of yellow.
The colors are what will initially standout, but adidas made the shoe with performance in mind. It features a new 3D TORSION plate, which provides stability during the swing. The research conducted by adidas found that the torsion plate helped minimize midfoot bend to help with internal heel slipping.
“The impact this footwear had (five years ago) and continues to have now is another proof point for us that golfers are continuing to look for spikeless performance in athletic and non-traditional silhouettes,” Denison said. “CODECHAOS 25 represents a milestone for us on how we’ve made this shoe better over the years, especially during a time where golf has seen such tremendous growth and participation.”
The shoe provides comfort, performance and even waterproof protection that makes it an all-around shoe designed with the modern golfer in mind.
