Odyssey Damascus Putter
Odyssey is bringing a whole new level of premium with its Damascus Milled putter, that features a premium insert with incredible detail.
The Damascus putter will be offered in the Seven model with either a crank hosel or double bend, but both will feature the Damascus steel insert. The wave patterns on the face are distinct and unique to Damascus steel, which is created through forge-welding multiple layers of steel alloy.
It’s folded and pressed to create the patterns on the face and then treated with a specialized heat to bring a finely tuned, highly responsive feel.
While the face insert is created with Damascus steel, the head is precision milled from premium stainless steel and has a premium blasted silver finish that complements the insert. It brings an incredible feel and feedback combination that is combined with Ai to create consistent ball speeds across the face.
The Damascus putter is offered in the seven model, but with the double bend option, golfers will see a face balanced putter with ¾ shaft offset that typically fits players with a minimal arc. The crank hosel version has moderate toe hang with a full shaft of offset that typically fits golfers with a moderate arc.
Each putter will come with a new rubber tour pistol grip developed with Golf Pride and an SL90 shaft that has 20 grams of counterbalance weight in the butt for stability, tempo and control.
