At Carl’s Golfland, Demo Days marks the beginning of the new golf season and is the biggest event of the year.
But, what does that mean for you, the consumer? Let’s dive in to what you can expect from Demo Days and what we have available both in our store and online.
The first thing to know is that Demo Days runs from February 17 to March 30, whether you’re shopping in our store or online. You’ll be able to find any major details or get answers to any of your questions at our designated Demo Days page, which is linked here.
NEW CLUBS
Most of the club manufacturers have released their new lines and the latest iterations of their clubs. That means there are a ton of options to choose from if you’re looking to add a new club to your bag.
How do you sift through all the new clubs and find what’s best for your swing and your game? You come to Demo Days. Almost every club on our sales floor is a demo club that you can take out to our heated range and test.
For example, if you’re looking for a new driver, but you don’t know if the new PING G440, the Callaway Elyte, TaylorMade Qi35, Wilson Dynapower, Titleist GT, COBRA DS/Adapt or any of the other new models are right for you. The first step would be to try a few out, take three drivers out to the range, hit them until you’ve narrowed it down to a few options.
A club specialist will then take you into a private hitting area with a GC Quad launch monitor, all for free, to dial in those clubs with the specific model within each line, the loft, lie, shaft and grip options. It shouldn’t be a guess as to what club you spend your hard-earned money on, so we help you with actual data to pick the right club.
Our club specialists are also here to answer any questions you might have to give you the scoop on what new technology is available and how it benefits you, the golfer.
That process is for any club, whether it’s driver, fairway woods, hybrids, irons or wedges and it’s all free. We also offer a full performance fitting where one of our dedicated fitters uses TrackMan to walk you through which clubs are performing their best for your swing.
You can call our stores to book a performance fitting and choose the time and day that works for you.
If you’re buying clubs online, don’t fret, our customer service staff is available via phone to field any questions you have and are as knowledgeable as our club specialists. Don’t go through the club buying process by yourself.
Every golfer has a different swing and different needs, so you should be buying the clubs that fit you and that will optimize your performance. We’re here to help with that and make it as easy as possible.
Once you find the right clubs, we also have instant savings on specified clubs – individual and package sets -- that will not only help your game, but help out the wallet, too.
INSTANT SAVINGS
Savings on the clubs will vary, and there are some exceptions that don’t apply, but the individual clubs will see savings from $10 to $20 off, while package iron sets will be $10 to $100 off.
It’s not just clubs that will have savings, either, as we will have incredible deals on apparel, shoes, bags and accessories.
If you were ever looking for a time to buy, this is it.
We believe that Demo Days should be as important to you, the customer, as it is to us, so we have marked down apparel by 20 percent for Demo Days. There are some exclusions that will apply, but having huge savings like 20 percent will give you the opportunity to look your best this golf season.
A general rule of thumb if you’re shopping online is that if you don’t see the Instant Savings badge below the item, then it, unfortunately, does not apply for the Demo Days instant savings. You can find all the exclusions in the FAQ section of our Demo Days page.
Outside of apparel, if your old golf shoes are worn down or you just have the itch to get a new pair, we will have $5 to $20 off select pairs of golf shoes throughout the store.
Golf bags will have similar savings on select options and will feature $5 to $20 off, depending on the make, model and price.
Last, but certainly not least, accessories will be 10 percent off, and who doesn’t need more golf accessories?
