TOP GOLF SHOE BRANDS

Let’s start our shoe shopping journey by exploring a few of our most popular and trusted brands.

FootJoy - A staple in the golf industry for years and one of the most trusted brands in golf footwear. They offer a wide variety of Men’s and Women’s styles and sizes to suit all golfers. FootJoy is so well-known for their traditional golf styling that they named a shoe the TRADITIONS, which are a great mid-price point option with a 1-year waterproof warranty. Another traditional option would be the FootJoy Premiere Series, which offers a unique blend of comfort, styling options AND performance. Both the Traditions and Premiere Series come in spiked and spikeless options. Looking for something a bit more sporty and sneaker-like? Look no further than the 2025 FootJoy HyperFlex. Other options on the performance side would be the Quantum, Tour Alpha and Flex.

AdidasWell-known for their wide-ranging sporting good products, adidas is no stranger to the game of golf. Like many other golf footwear brands, adidas does an exceptional job of blending performance footwear with modern styling. One of Carl’s Golfland’s all-time best-selling franchises, the adidas TOUR360, is a great option for a serious to casual golfer looking for spiked performance, while keeping their feet dry. If the golfer on your list typically walks the course, the lightweight, energy-saving Adizero ZG OR the ultra-comfortable, yet modern, CodeChaos 25 could be a great fit. If you’re looking for shoes that screams “classic adidas,” you’ll want to check out the Gazelle, Samba or Stan Smith golf shoes.

G/FOREKnown for bold patterns and colors, G/FORE seeks to modernize the game while offering the finest in performance golf footwear. If the golfer on your list needs to be heard, without saying a word, look no further than G/FORE. With a wide variety of color options in the Gallivan2r, offered in spiked (G/LOCK) and spikeless, there is one constant – extreme comfort - due to the triple-density OrthoLite insole. New for 2025, the G/FORE MG4+ O2 is an evolution from the popular MG4+, which has been one of their hottest shoes in company history. The MG4+ O2 is a modern take on golf, offering exceptional comfort, great traction and next-level styling.

SHOP BY FEATURES

Outside of styling and comfort, what else does a Golf Shoe have to offer? Actually, it could be a lot. We’ll help lay out a few filterable options on our website that can help in your shoe buying decision.

Waterproof – Golf is played outdoors and conditions can be unpredictable. Golf is hard enough, but with a pair of waterproof golf shoes, wet feet won’t be one of those contributing factors. Be sure to consider shoes with a one, two or three year waterproof warranty if you think wet conditions are in your golfer’s future. Shoes coming with a waterproof warranty mean the company will stand behind that product versus the conditions for the listed period of time. Should you have any issues with wet feet within the warranty period, simply give us a call or shoot us an email. We’ll get you squared away with no hassle, and only a few questions asked.

Water resistant shoes, while not totally resistant to the elements, do offer some sort of resistance to wet conditions. We offer the ability to filter our website shoe category based on the level of waterproof warranty and also note each warranty on each shoes’ product page.

Spiked or Spikeless Golf Shoes – This is one of the biggest debates here at Golfland. While we have yet to reach a verdict, the debate between spiked and spikeless shoes truly is player and condition dependent. For drier conditions, where traction isn’t really an issue, you can go either spikeless or spiked. A spikeless shoe on a hard, dry course might provide extra comfort for the player, which really becomes apparent after the round. If course conditions are damp or wet, or you play morning golf, a spiked option is the safe recommendation here as spiked shoes tend to offer a little bit more traction to ensure slipping is not a problem. Again, golf is hard enough.

BOA VS. LacedThe BOA fit system is a unique lacing system that uses a dial to tighten golf shoes versus a traditional lacing system. While most players don’t seek BOA, we urge players regularly to try shoes sporting this type of system. Unlike laced golf shoes, BOA does not loosen as you progress through your round. It’s really is set it and forget it. BOA is offered in shoes from adidas, Asics, Ecco and FootJoy. Yeah, most players are using a traditional laced system, but we’ve found those who give BOA a try, have a hard time going back.

Whether your golfer is looking for something sporty or traditional, spiked or spikeless, we have a treasure trove of golf’s finest footwear to suite every golfer’s footwear needs.
