Golf Apparel for the season's first major

If you’re looking for styles for the first major of the year or just the start of the new golf season, Carl’s Golfland has curated looks, styles and accessories all in one place to make it as easy as possible to shop for you new look.

If you haven’t narrowed down your search quite yet, here is a look at some of the new collections from a variety of brands that will get you fitted and looking great on or off the course this spring.

TRAVISMATHEW

TravisMathew has brought its A-game when it comes to season opener apparel on both the men’s and women’s side.

Starting with men’s, you can start of with a solid polo in the Clubhouse Classic polo in a see spray green color. Or, you can go a little more bold with the Akshay Bhatia energy polo that features a stacked TravisMathew logo on the front and TravisMathew in script on the back over the top of a silhouette of flowers.

You can pair that with the energy t-shirt with a similar style and the OTC 2.0 jogger golf pants in matching sea spray green. Then throw the whole outfit together with a louder please hat and cap it off with a stylish fit for the spring.

For the ladies, you can go sleeveless in the women’s moveknit afterglow polo in green tambourine and pair it with the moveknit game set match 2.0 golf skort in the green tambourine print. The moveknit novelty tank golf dress in the same green and leaf print. If you’d like a dress, but want a solid color, TravisMathew also has the sleeveless moveknit zip golf dress 2.0 in the same green tambourine.

TravisMathew also has some matching headwear in the dad snapback golf hat, twisted ivy golf hat and the island sol golf bucket hat.

STRAIGHT DOWN

One of the cooler collections this year comes from Straight Down, who brought the garden caddie to their apparel and hats.

You can find the garden caddies on the IYKYK t-shirt, as well as the garden caddie rope hat.

The collection also features the first major golf polo with a sage green print, the pimento cheese polo that has pimento cheese sandwiches, cocktails and golf balls in the print, as well as the redbud and dogwood polos.

The munch t-shirt also has a pimento cheese sandwich, a cocktail and a green and white striped umbrella with an azalea in the background.

PUMA

In terms of creativity, PUMA nailed it with the 30904 collection. The apparel shows the numbers 30904 on the front of some of the pieces, which is the zip code for Augusta, Georgia.

The zip code is featured on the warm white hoodie, the women’s cloudspun fleece sweatshirt and the two t-shirts. The t-shirts have an added detail, however, with the outline of a peach and Georgia on My Mind written on the inside of the peach. PUMA has a matching luso green pull on short with the zip code, as well as an unstructured hat and a rope hat that says Georgia on My Mind.

PUMA also has some Arnold Palmer options for the ladies with its Modalon Piped sleeveless polo, the Modalon golf polo, the A-sym pleat golf skirt, the CLOUDSPUN fleece v-neck golf sweatshirt, as well.

NIKE

Nostalgia is in and Nike is playing off of a memory from 1986 with Seve Ballesteros playing in the first major of the year. Ballesteros was a Nike athlete, wearing a visor that did not have a Nike logo on it.

He wanted to change that, so he cut a Nike tag off of his apparel and plastered it on his visor, creating a double stacked Nike logo. The brand took that double stack improvisation and created a line for the season opener.

The stacked logo is featured on the stacked icon polo in white and grey, as well as barley green. It’s also on the stacked icon print par polo in white and malachite (green), white and work blue and anthracite and black.

A picture of Ballesteros is on the collection’s t-shirt, as well as the stacked logo on the front.

GREYSON

The First Bloom collection from Greyson has some incredible pops of color with pinks, blues and greens throughout.

Greyson has its Aspen hoodie with a floral G logo on the front in its bone color, as well as the Aspen hoodie in an azalea pink color with a detailed crest on the back with a touch of pink flowers.

You can also find the Floral G Siasconset quarter-zip and the Floral G Siasconset crewneck sweatshirt for men.

For the women, Greyson has a floral cropped Aspen boxy hoodie in the azalea color with the word Greyson in script on the back surrounded by flowers. You can put the outfits all together with one of the three hats in the collection that all stay in the same vein as the rest of the line.

LILLY PULITZER

The ladies have a few options within the Lilly Pulitzer line available at Carl’s Golfland, including the Luxletic love active short sleeve golf dress that comes in the conch shell pink lil sunny daisies color.

Lilly Pulitzer also has the Luxletic Frida golf polo in resort white, with accents of pink, blue and green near the collar. You can pair the polo with the Monica 15-inch golf skort to have a fashionable fit for the spring.
