Push and pull carts can provide an opportunity to walk while playing golf without having to carry your bag, and have come a long way with what they have to offer.
They come in very basic form all the way up to electric navigated by GPS. Depending on what you’re looking for and your price point, you can find an option that fits your needs.
The Bag Boy C3 push cart is a less expensive option that has a three-step fold for compact storage, adjustable handles for different heights, a beverage holder and an extra deep scorecard holder with golf ball storage and a smart phone holder.
Sun Mountain makes a Ridgeline 3 push cart that fold in two steps with three high impact, EZ Glyde wheels with stainless steel bearings that reduce friction. The upper bracket adjusts to the height of your bag and features a spacious accessory tray.
The clicgear Model 8.0+ is a four-wheel model with airless tires and a dual braking system with a lever the locks both front wheels. It features a V-Slide mechanism that slides to open and close quickly and easily.
The cart comes with a built-in storage console for your scorecard, golf ball, pencil and tee holders as well as a large storage net for personal items and an extra-large cup holder.
Both options are easy open and close models, but the Bag Boy Nitron is an auto-open push cart with Nitro-Piston technology. The cart has a one-step, lightning fast assisted open and folds to a compact size for easy storage.
It has bungee straps to secure the golf bag and a patented Top-Lok technology to attach the bag to the cart.
If you’re looking for a more technologically advanced push cart, the MGI AI Navigator GPS+ electric caddy cart is a great option.
You can push the MGI as you would a non-electric cart, or you can walk behind the caddy, allowing it to use its twin motors to drive the wheels for you, or you can guide the cart with a remote that will work up to 110 yards away.
Whether you’re looking for automatic or manual, a push cart can be a great option to get around the course.
