PXG Clubs available now at Carl's Golfland

PXG golf clubs are now available at Carl’s Golfland both in-store and online in a wide variety of options.

The PXG Lightning drivers will be available in three different models with the Lightning Tour, Lightning Tour Mid and the Lightning Max 10k+. The Secret Weapon Mini Driver will also be available amongst the drivers.

The Lightning line of drivers has been engineered for explosive speed and precision with a Frequency-Tuned Face. The face is designed to synchronize with the ball’s natural compression at impact for a more efficient energy transfer.

PXG optimized the dominant modal frequency at the center of the face, which helps deliver faster ball speeds.

In addition, the Lightning drivers feature a lightweight composite crown with up to 84 percent more carbon fiber on the sole than previous generations. That carbon construction helps deliver higher MOI, a lower and deeper center of gravity and increased forgiveness.

Three weight locations help adjust trajectory and more forgiveness.

The Lightning Tour is built for elite level players that are looking for low trajectory. It’s a compact, tour-inspired shape with a deep face and curved crown for low spin and maximum workability.

The Lightning Tour Mid is for competitive players looking for a blend of control and forgiveness. It has a slightly larger, modern profile that blends tour control with stability and forgiveness and is a great option for most golfers.

The Lightning Max 10k+ is the highest forgiveness model in the Lightning lineup and is a versatile design made for forgiveness and distance. It has a large, confidence-boosting head shape with total-face forgiveness.

The Secret Weapon Mini Driver is built for precision and power that can be used off the tee or the fairway in a 13-degree lofted head. The mini driver has higher launch, low spin and is designed to bring forgiveness, stability and maximum performance.

Fairway woods and hybrids

In the fairway woods, the Lightning model will be available at Carl’s Golfland, which was built for speed, versatility and confidence from any lie.

The Lightning model has a proprietary face structure that adapts by loft to fine-tune directional performance and shot accuracy across the lineup. The lower lofted fairways have a curvature for control and the higher lofts have a flatter geometry for consistency.

A spined sole design stiffens unwanted vibration frequencies that optimizes energy return. The precision weighting system combined with the adjustable hosel makes the Lightning fairways versatile and adjustable to whatever the golfer needs.

The Lightning hybrid is also available and brings similar characteristics with speed, stability and control. The Lightning hybrids have a six percent thinner face than the previous Black Ops models, which helps to boost ball speeds.

The high-strength carbon fiber crown helped to redistribute mass low and around the perimeter, giving the hybrids a low center of gravity, high launch and forgiveness.
