Scotty Cameron Phantom 3.2 and 12 line extensions
Scotty Cameron has added two new models to its Phantom lineup with the Phantom 3.2 and 12 mallet putters.
Adding to its already successful 2026 Phantom lineup, Scotty Cameron is giving consumers two more putter options that bring different qualtiies and shaping to round out the family.
The Phantom 3.2 is a mid-mallet with a plumber’s neck and a tri-line alignment aid to help frame the golf ball. It’s a compact shape that Cameron says blends rounded contours with clear, straight lines.
The 3.2 will come equipped with a full-face Studio Carbon Steel insert with the chain-link face milling to fine-tune sound and feel.
“The mid-mallet category is really popular on tour, and the 3.2 was basically designed to blend together different iconic Cameron shapes from the past,” Austie Rollinson, Senior Director of putter R&D for Scotty Cameron, said. “The face profile was influenced by the Red X model. The rounded footprint has some of the GOLO 6 in it. We wanted to bring in the T-Crown detail of the Phantom 9, which allows the sight line to stretch the length of the head from front to back.”
The Phantom 3.2 is designed for golfers who like a rounded putter, similar to the Newport, GOLO or Fastback models and the shaping of a compact mallet.
The Phantom 12 is a high-MOI mallet with a mid-single-bend shaft and a single sight line alignment aid.
It’s a larger mallet, compared to the 3.2, and has the deepest and lowest center of gravity in the Phantom lineup. That is achieved through a multi-material construction and ring-weighted design.
“The CG of the Phantom 12 gives golfers a pretty unique feel through the stroke,” Rollinson said. “It’s that distance between the CG of the head and the putter’s shaft axis that gives them that feel of stability when they’re swinging it. It also can change the low part of the arc as well, so that the stroke bottoms out sooner, causing players to hit slightly up on the ball and generate forward roll.”
The 12 has a T-Crown feature for extra alignment and an aluminum face that utilizes the chain-link milling to give the proper feedback. It will provide a high amount of stability and a larger, confidence-inspiring footprint for someone looking for this type of putter.
Both new Phantom models will be available for purchase at Carl’s Golfland and CarlsGolfland.com on June 25.
