Titleist GTS Drivers and Fairway Metals
After Titleist brought its GT line of drivers and fairway metals to market in 2024, the brand knew there was still more that they could do when it came to performance, consistency and speed.
The R&D team continued to push the limits with mass, face construction and aerodynamics to develop the newest line, called GTS. With more speed, more consistency and stability, GTS has helped push Titleist forward in its venture to distance itself from the competition.
With GT, Titleist introduced generational technology with a proprietary material construction and new speed performance gains. With GTS, the company has improved those metrics from GT and brought new features to the three models of drivers available now.
With GTS, Titleist made modifications to the thermoform crown and now has a full thermoform body that pushes weight back for increased stability and forward for optimized speed and launch dynamics. GT featured a new face variation and GTS is now equipped with a Speed Sync face that creates a more optimal sweet spot with minimal reduction in speed from off-center contact.
A more pronounced raised tail in GTS also creates a profile that reduces resistance for added swing speed.
All three models of GTS – GTS2, GTS3 and GTS4 – will feature the new benefits and bring more speed and stability across the board. Each model, however, will have some unique changes from GT that will help bring more fitting options to every golfer.
The GTS2 has been built for golfers looking for added power and consistency across the face. It has maximum forgiveness and distributes weight to amplify speed and stability at the same time. GTS2 will also have a dual weighting system to position the center of gravity to the golfer’s swing mechanics for optimal speed, launch and spin.
The GTS3 will be for the golfer looking for more control over speed and ball flight. The GTS3 is Titleist’s most adjustable driver ever with options for every golfer. For the first time in a Titleist driver, the brand has coupled an adjustable SureFit CG Track with a dual weighting system and SureFit hosel to control launch, speed and stability, as well as directional control.
GTS4 is for golfers losing distance due to high spin rates and want aggressive spin reduction. The GTS4 will now feature and adjustable SureFit CG track and a more forgiving 460cc head for faster, penetrating drives.
The GTS4 will still have Tour preferred shaping and the signature Titleist look, as will all of the new drivers in the line.
The drivers have seen some incredible improvements that have brought speed and stability gains, and the fairway metals have also seen similar changes.
In the fairway metals, there is a new composite crown that extends around the perimeter, a shallower face height to help with low-impact shots, as well as a lower and deeper center of gravity to produce faster speeds and higher launch.
The GTS2 and GTS3 fairways will also come with a new face polish, giving it a silver look, that was preferred by Tour players and makes the face appear bigger and more forgiving.
The GTS2 fairway is designed for the golfer who wants maximum playability with a larger profile and shallower face for easier launch. The GTS3 fairway is for golfers with a more downward attack angle. It has a deeper face height and the classic pear-shaped profile with high launch and low spin.
Both fairway metals will also have a dual weighting system to match the exact head weight and center of gravity location to each golfer.
No matter what you’re looking for in a driver or fairway metal, Titleist’s GTS has an option for you. With all new parameters that have brought speed, stability and consistency up another level, GTS is here to help you distance yourself on the course.
