Wilson Dynapower Forged Irons

Wilson’s new Dynapower Forged irons blend improved accuracy and maximum distance with a softer feel. The latest iteration is a players distance iron that offers premium materials and premium feedback for a golfer looking for a blend of forgiveness and speed.

Wilson used a forged 8620 carbon steel, which is one of the softest materials that provides workability and great feedback at impact. It’s a slim, cavity back design with a polished mirror finish in an incredible looking package.

Because of the construction and performance attributes, Wilson wanted to ensure that feel and sound were at a level of what better players would expect. The company filled the clubhead with a TE-031 urethane that helps dampen the contact vibrations and ultimately help improve the sound and feel.

To obtain the distance and performance aspect, Wilson also placed the center of gravity lower in the clubhead to bring higher launch and higher MOI.

Artificial intelligence was also utilized in the engineering of the club through a variety of methods and applications. Through Ai simulations, Wilson included a PKR-Cup face that wraps the perimeter of the sole. That allows for maximum flex and consistency to deliver accurate results.

In addition, Wilson used Ai simulations to create a variable face thickness. The artificial intelligence helps develop the optimal thickness in different places on the face to increase flexion and energy transfer. Ultimately, that results in more distance and speed and less energy loss on off-center hits.

It’s one of many options within Wilson’s new lineup of irons that has a wide breadth for every golfer. From the Staff Model Blades, CB and XB, to Dynapower, Dynapower Max and now the Dynapower Forged.
