Wilson Staff Model Irons

Wilson has a long heritage of producing premium golf clubs and the brand has made a concerted effort to be considered among the top producers in the game.

The brand is building on that effort with its all-new line of Staff Model irons, blending modern looks and performance in a sleek package. Wilson is bringing its Blade, CB and XB irons to market within the line in an updated look and optimized output.

The Blade has been designed with precision for ball-strikers looking for control and workability in an incredibly shaped clubhead. The compact head, reduced offset and tour-inspired look, combined with the forged 8620 carbon steel makes this an incredible feeling blade with a look that great golfers are seeking out.

Wilson also placed mass near the toe in its Blade to shift the center of gravity towards the middle of the face, which helps maximize forgiveness and energy transfer. A fluid feel hosel eliminates unused weight, which also redistributes weight towards the toe. In addition to the weight, a precision milled face brings longer ball to club face contact and a more consistent spin.

The Blade is a classic player’s iron for the golfer looking to work the ball, seeking out exceptional feel and a compact package with a tour-inspired profile.

The CB model is a modern take on a cavity back design with a compact shape and upgraded performance.

Similar to the Blade, the CB has a classic, compact design that features a full package of forgiveness and feel. There is reduced offset, shorter and sharper edges and a tour-inspired look that make this a forgiving option for golfers that don’t want to sacrifice looks and feel.

Similar to the Blade, the CB is forged in 8620 carbon steel and also has mass placed near the toe to move the center of gravity towards the middle of the face.

The XB is labeled as a player’s performance iron that packs a touch more forgiveness than the CB model. It’s a modern hollow-body design that is optimized for maximum distance and forgiveness, while also paying careful attention to shaping.

It comes in a sleek design with a thin topline and minimal offset with a hollow body construction that enhances speed and weight distribution. Despite the focus on forgiveness and the hollow body, Wilson emphasized an enhanced sound and feel with superior acoustics at impact from a urethane injection that dampens face vibration.

Wilson utilized simulations to enhance the sweet spot to maximize forgiveness and ball speeds across the entire face and included the precision milled face for more consistent spin.

From top-to-bottom, Wilson has something for everyone within its new Staff Model lineup, that blends modern design and performance in a sleek package with optimized results.
