Callaway CB12 Steel Shaft Wedges 2026

The Callaway CB12 features a larger head, a thicker topline, and a deep cavity back construction. This build positions 12 grams of weight around the perimeter of the head, maximizing forgiveness across the face, especially compared to a traditional muscleback wedge.

The CB12 is also incredibly forgiving through the turf and the sand, thanks to its wide sole and chamfered leading edge. However, unlike most wide-soled wedges, which are one-trick ponies lacking versatility, the CB12's Tri-Sole design makes it simultaneously forgiving and playable. Comprising three unique sole geometries, the Tri-Sole creates the ideal amount of effective bounce and relief based on the setup position and face angle, allowing you to execute anything from a bump-and-run to an open-faced flop shot.

Callaway equips the CB12 with the same groove platform as their flagship Opus wedge, including a tighter pitch with more grooves and a new aggressive face blast. Known as Spin Gen Face Technology, this groove setup generates tour-level spin and control with minimal dropoff in wet conditions or from heavy rough.
