Cleveland RTZ Black Satin Wedges - Graphite Shft

The RTZ Wedges are crafted from Z-Alloy, an entirely new carbon-steel formula Cleveland developed to meet the lofty expectations of its elite Tour wedges. This lighter, softer, and remarkably durable material, developed only after finding every available metal inadequate, enabled a design completely free of compromise. As a result, the RTZ is Cleveland's best-performing Tour wedge to date, delivering superior feel, consistency, and forgiveness.

The RTZ is remarkably stable for a blade-style, tour-caliber wedge, thanks to Cleveland's ZipCore technology. By replacing heavier material in the heel and hosel areas with a lightweight, low-density material, this proprietary core technology shifts the CG towards the center of the face and redistributes discretionary weight to the head's perimeter. Essentially, ZipCore infuses the MOI benefits of a larger perimeter-weighted offering into a player-preferred tour-size profile and corrects the heel-biased sweet spot traditionally found in wedges.

While all tour-level wedges generate virtually the same amount of spin in pristine conditions, the numbers inherently decline when foreign substances prevent a clean strike. Cleveland's unique system of face blasts, laser-milled lines, and sharper, deeper grooves dramatically improve spin retention in wet weather and from the rough and bunker, ensuring the utmost control from any lie.

Four grinds are available in the RTZ, including the new ADAPT. Available in mid to higher lofts, the ADAPT features a tour-preferred raised and flattened leading edge, full-face grooves, and an extended toe area. These attributes reduce digging and broaden the striking area, lending themselves to greenside creativity and open-faced short-game shots.

The stock shafts and grip are Project X's Catalyst Spinner, KBS' HI-REV 80, and Golf Pride's Tour Velvet 360.
