An update from Carl's Golfland regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
COVID-19 has posed a great challenge - not only for those diagnosed, their friends & family, but for healthcare providers, grocery store clerks, small businesses, restaurants owners and employees. To those essential workers and those doing their part to slow the spread of the virus – thank you.
It is our social obligation to take the necessary actions to help slow the spread of the virus. With the best interest of our staff and community in mind, and in response to Michigan Governor Whitmer’s ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe’ executive order, Carl’s Golfland will be suspending all in store-related operations effective Monday, March 23, 11:59p (ET).
Our online site, Carlsgolfland.com and our eBay and Amazon marketplaces remain open. Orders that are made, will be processed and shipped ASAP. Our team has set up procedures to ensure we are carefully observing all CDC standards of social distancing, routine cleaning and hygiene requirements to protect our staff and customers in order to process your orders. Thank you for your patience. If you have any questions please contact our customer service agents at: email@example.com.
For the Carl’s Golfland staff members affected by this who are unable to work remotely, we have instructed them to stay home and stay healthy. We will continue to pay all full and part-time employees scheduled wages and benefits through May 3rd, 2020.
Know this – we are not backing down from this challenge. Our role and duty is to society and the great game of golf. Our part now is to stay healthy and look ahead to greener pastures (fairways).
As always, we thank you for your understanding and support.
Until we can all play 18 and shake hands (again). Be well.
Carl E. Rose
