Odyssey's new Ai-DUAL insert in the Tri-Hot S2S family is equally impressive. It was born from the company's quest for its R&D team to combine the attributes of its most effective inserts: the forgiveness of Ai-ONE and the roll dynamics of Microhinge. To accomplish this once thought-to-be-impossible goal, Odyssey leaned on Callaway's industry-leading artificial intelligence to design a dual-layer urethane insert comprising a soft outer layer and a firm inner layer. Like Ai-ONE, this innovative construction delivers consistent ball speeds and unmatched distance control across the face. Additionally, the insert works in conjunction with the now-deeper, more aggressive grooves on the face to promote the same optimal forward roll as Microhinge at impact.
