TaylorMade P770 Irons
The new TaylorMade P•770 Irons feature a forged hollow body construction, an incredibly thin forged steel face, and a Thru-Slot Speed Pocket that combine to produce massive ball speeds and forgiveness in a compact head shape.
New to the P•770 is TaylorMade's FLTD CG technology, which strategically positions the center of gravity throughout the entire set. Using up to 46g of tungsten, FLTD CG is designed to improve launch, playability, and forgiveness in the long irons while increasing spin and delivering a "flighted" trajectory in the scoring irons.
TaylorMade finishes the P•770 with KBS's mid-trajectory Tour shaft because it offers shot versatility and control with a smooth, responsive feel.
TaylorMade P•770 Irons Feature:
- Soft 8620 forged carbon steel body and an incredibly thin forged 4140 steel face that is fast and flexible
- FLTD CG positions the CG lower in the long irons for improved launch and playability and progressively higher throughout the set for increased spin and accuracy in the scoring irons
- SpeedFoam Air is 69% less dense than before, creating mass savings that are redistributed for improved performance. Also dampens vibrations for exquisite sound and feel
- Tour-inspired shaping, including less offset in the long irons with a thin topline, less offset, and shorter blade length compared to P•790
- Thru-Slot Speed Pocket provides increased face flexibility while preserving ball speed and distance on low-face strikes
