The new TaylorMade Qi35 Driver is crafted from chromium carbon, steel, aluminum, tungsten, and titanium. In addition to the stunning aesthetics, this cutting-edge multi-material construction dramatically lowers the center of gravity, creating a near-zero CG projection. The CG projection, which can be visualized as an ascending line traveling from the trailing edge of the head to the face, determines the area of the face that generates ideal launch, spin, and transfer of force. Anything struck below this point produces sub-optimal performance. By drastically lowering the projected center of gravity, TaylorMade effectively expanded the club's sweet spot, resulting in more drives reaching their maximum speed and distance potential.
Thanks to its larger head (the same as the Max) and Trajectory Adjustment System, including two interchangeable sole weights, the standard Qi35 is truly a jack of all trades, suiting a broad scope of golfers. The driver delivers a staggering 9,000 MOI, an increase of 600, and a 26% tighter dispersion than the previous model with the heavier weight in the rear position. Combined with the CG projection, this setting renders the Qi35 longer and more forgiving than the Qi10. In the forward position, the heavier weight reduces spin to the point that TaylorMade now fits many high swing speed and spin players, who formerly gamed a Qi10 LS, into the Qi35. This setting is responsible for the lowest CG projection, and thanks to its shape and added head volume, those seeking reduced spin can reap the dividends of added forgiveness.
Multi-material construction, including chromium carbon, steel, aluminum, tungsten, and titanium, seamlessly blends form and function
Near zero CG projection and the exceptionally high MOI inertia shape create efficient launch and spin across a larger area of the face for added distance while maximizing stability and forgiveness
Trajectory Adjustment System, including two moveable weights (13g, 3g), offers the most mass-efficient CG adjustments for spin, stability, launch, and trajectory control (Heavier weight forward creates the lowest CG projection, lowers launch, and reduces spin. Heavier weight forward produces an outstanding balance of distance and forgiveness, including 9K MOI.)
4th generation Carbon Twist Face generates maximum energy transfer for superior ball speed and corrects inherent mishit tendencies to promote straighter, more accurate shots; contrast details at the top of the face enhance and simplify alignment
Thru-Slot Speed Pocket increases face flex to maximize ball speed and preserve ball speed on low-face strikes
4° Loft sleeve allows for loft and lie adjustments
The new line of Qi35 woods is a step forward in technology for TaylorMade, with some incredible breakthroughs for the 2025 season.
The Qi35 driver will come in the core Qi35, Qi35 Max, QI LS and the Qi35 Max Lite models, each coming with different benefits for a different type of golfer.
With its new Qi35 drivers, TaylorMade is using technology within the carbon face to get golfers fitted into the right product.
Reflective markers placed within the face are making the drivers launch monitor enabled, giving fitters more data and more tools to find the right driver for the consumer. Having more data at our fingertips is going to help ensure the fitters are diagnosing the right problem and getting the right driver in your hands.
