TaylorMade utilized a wind tunnel, advanced simulations and testing to re-engineer the driver head profile. The result was increased ball speeds and a more modern shape that allowed for balanced inertia and weight placement to optimize CG. TaylorMade also utilized an improved speed pocket on the sole to reduce spin on low-face strikes and protect ball speed.

This is the fifth generation of TaylorMade’s carbon face, which has given the company millions of shots to test and revamp the minute details of each carbon layer. A 60x Carbon Twist Face helps provide weight savings to produce faster ball speeds and more consistency while an improved and more consistent roll radius helps keep spin consistent across the face.

A big part of Qi4D’s story is the REAX shafts and how it helps make this TaylorMade's most fittable driver ever. Through a unique fitting process that identifies rotation rate, fitters can quickly identify which REAX shaft a golfer should be playing. The red for high rotation golfers, blue for mid rotation and white for low rotation will help golfers see more centered contact, increased speed and more accuracy.

TaylorMade utilized a multi-material construction for its fairway metals to optimize performance and have enhanced performance attributes in the latest model. Through Tour feedback and TaylorMade fitters, the Qi4D fairway metals have updated lie angles, address views, sit points and center of gravity to maximize performance and speed.

The Qi4D fairways have a trajectory adjustment system with moveable weights along with a 4-degree loft sleeve to adjust loft, lie and face angle. The engineers combined that with an improved cut-through Speed Pocket that reduces spin and allows for more consistent ball speed on low-face strikes to bring the ultimate in performance and versatility.

Performance: TaylorMade’s Qi4D rescue clubs are the ultimate in iron-replacement options with loft and lie adjustability for optimized flight and trajectory. The rescues are a multi-material construction that combines stainless steel and carbon fiber with a balanced CG that creates high launching and forgiving rescue clubs for any golfer.

Technology: The ultralight carbon crown and strategically placed trajectory adjustment system weights give the golfer optimal flight and workability. TaylorMade utilized its cut-through speed pocket for consistent results on low face shots and is equipped with the all-new REAX shafts for a better fitting rescue.

The Qi Max irons are a game improvement iron with some premium features, including what TaylorMade calls straight distance. A patented face technology reimagines face flexibility to help reduce cut spin, giving golfers more consistent spin and distance results.

TaylorMade put a premium on sound and feel in the Qi Max irons with the top line and face being two important areas to produce that feel. TaylorMade utilized a new internal stability bar and ECHO damper material to reduce vibrations and bring a premium sound and feel that isn’t always achieved in a game improvement iron.
