The GT280, a descendent of the TSR 2W prototype, is the direct result of Titleist's collaboration with PGA Tour players. After receiving numerous requests for an alternate option at the top of the bag, Titleist's R&D engineers and tour reps worked alongside some of the world's best players, including Cameron Young and Will Zalatoris, to create this unique "Mini Driver."
Longer than a 3-wood and easier to control than a driver, the GT280 blends driver-like speed with increased accuracy, precision, and workability off the tee. Additionally, this 280cc offering's flatter sole design facilitates consistent contact and an easier launch from tight likes, transforming your ability to attack and reach longer par 5s in two. A new forged L-cup face wrapping around the bottom of the club further bolsters performance off the deck, preserving ball speed and maintaining launch conditions on the most common miss, a low-face strike.
Like the GT Drivers, the GT280 showcases Titleist's new seamless Thermoform Crown. Created from a new proprietary matrix polymer, a substance never used before in the golf industry, this revolutionary material unlocks unprecedented design possibilities while maintaining Titleist's signature sound and feel. Specifically, the crown creates discretionary weight that's strategically repositioned to optimize speed, stability, launch angle, and spin dynamics, resulting in a prodigious combination of distance, MOI, and forgiveness.

280cc head with a player-preferred look (smaller than a driver and larger than a fairway wood)
Flatter sole design for an easier launch from tight lies
New Forged L-cup face wrapping around the bottom of the club enhances sound and feel and preserves ball speed and launch conditions on low-face strikes
Ultra-lightweight Seamless Thermoform Crown allows for key performance gains while maintaining Titleist's signature sound and feel
Dual performance control settings with two weight positions (weight forward for faster, more penetrating shots/weight back balanced blend of speed, spin, and stability)
SureFit hosel allows for loft and lie adjustments (up to +1.5°/-.75°)

Titleist announced its latest addition to the GT line of drivers and fairway woods with the GT280 mini driver. The GT280 will feature all the benefits of the GT line, including the seamless thermoform crown, the same proprietary matrix polymer that makes up the GT drivers and is engineered with Titleist’s signature player-preferred sound and feel.
