Titleist's relentless pursuit of speed, known as the Titleist Speed Project, reaches new heights in the GT family, a byproduct of the new Thermoform Crown. Created from a new proprietary matrix polymer, a substance never used before in the golf industry, this revolutionary material unlocks unprecedented design possibilities while maintaining Titleist's signature sound and feel. Specifically, the crown creates discretionary weight that's strategically repositioned both forward and back in the head to optimize each model's speed, stability, launch angle, and spin dynamics. The result is a prodigious combination of distance, MOI, and forgiveness.

The next ingredient in Titleist's speed formula lies in the incredibly fast face. An upgraded titanium Speed Ring stabilizes the perimeter of the face, allowing the center to produce the maximum ball speed permitted under USGA regulations, while variable face thickness ensures minimal dropoff on mishits.

Finally, GT's new construction and weight distribution enable progressive aerodynamic shapes that were previously impossible to achieve, promoting increased club head speed.

Titleist's most aggressive spin-reducing driver to date, the GT4, benefits players who lose distance due to spin rates above 3,000 RPMs. This compact, player-preferred offering features two adjustable sole weights. In the forward setting, the heavier weight creates the most spin reduction and a penetrating ball flight. Place the heavier weight in the tail of the head for a balanced blend of speed, stability, and moderate spin reduction.

The premium shaft driver includes DI, IZ, UB, and VF offerings from Graphite Design. Tour AD shafts utilize advanced TORAYCA material with NANOALLOY technology to fine-tune specific zones of the shaft for added stability without adding weight. Consequently, the shafts simultaneously provide superior accuracy and distance.
