Development of the new Pro V1 and Pro V1x began immediately after the previous ball was introduced. Through a complete reformulation of the core, Titleist's industry-leading golf ball R&D team, comprised of more than 75 associates, many of whom boast advanced degrees in a host of scientific fields, were able to steepen the "spin slope." Consequently, the 25 Pro V1 and V1x deliver increased spin with the scoring clubs while maintaining low spin off the tee. Combine the increased control with a measurable ball speed gain, including players reporting up to 1.5 MPH of added ball speed, and the result is a dramatically better product.

Every single Pro V1 and Pro V1x is manufactured using a highly meticulous process, and only Titleist's golf ball scientists and engineers are allowed to work in their golf ball facility.
