The Tour Edge Hot Launch E523 Iron-Woods feature a hollow-body design with extreme perimeter weighting that produces the forgiveness and distance properties of a metalwood in an iron-like design. Unlike previous generations of Iron-Woods, the 523 utilizes a concave shape to create a smaller topline and a less visible back end that's much more appealing at address.
Tour Edge equips the E523 with its proprietary Houdini Sole Technology, which includes an area of mass concentrated at the trailing edge of the sole and a curved leading edge under the face. This unique design allowed Tour Edge's engineers to precisely position weight and create an ultra-low and deep center of gravity, making the E523 one of the easiest-to-hit and highest-launching irons ever produced.
Many golfers struggle with the dreaded slice, and Tour Edge has combated this in the E523. The iron's offset design helps the club head square up at impact, yielding a straighter ball flight.
Tour Edge equips the E523 with an ultra-light UST Mamiya HL-SST graphite shaft. The shaft features Stability Shaft Tech, a softer tip, and a mid-range flex. Stabilized Shaft Tech is an added cross weave that improves stability during the loading and unloading of the shaft.
