XXIO has been engineering and perfecting ultra-premium, lightweight, high-launching, easy-to-swing golf clubs well before the recent industry trend. Whereas most manufacturers design clubs for tour professionals and then adapt them to meet the needs of moderate-to-slow swing-speed players, XXIO's process begins and ends with a singular focus on the moderate-to-slow swing player. As such, it's no mystery why XXIO continually leads the market, and the new 13 Driver, Fairway, Hybrid, and Irons are no exception.
The 13 Irons are highlighted by an advanced 4-piece construction, including lightweight titanium faces and hollow heel portions that allow for heavier tungsten-nickel sole weights. These features dramatically lower the center of gravity in the long irons, delivering straight, towering shots with increased carry distances and excellent stopping power. Mass redistribution also pays enormous dividends in the MOI and forgiveness departments. The shorter irons' higher center of gravity emphasizes accuracy and control.
XXIO invested a great deal of time in bolstering the iron's speed capabilities. Specifically, a new L-shaped groove near the club's sole and new grooves in the periphery of the head allow for greater face flexibility. As a result, COR is up across the face, ensuring all shots see elevated ball speeds, regardless of where the strike occurs.
The numbers speak for themselves; XXIO's testing demonstrated gains of 1.6 miles per hour of ball speed and 2.4 yards of carry distance with a tighter dispersion compared to the previous 12 model.
XXIO's proprietary shafts and grips further distance the leader in the lightweight market from its competitors. Instead of selecting stock shaft and grip offerings after the head is completed, XXIO simultaneously engineers each component to blend seamlessly. The shafts are notable for their usage of lightweight yet exceptionally strong aerospace materials, a necessity for maximizing swing speed without sacrificing accuracy.
XXIO 13 Irons Feature:
- Ultralightweight design maximizes club head speed and launch for moderate-to-slow swing speed players
- Slightly raised topline, rounder toe, and more offset help avoid a slice
- 4-Piece construction lowers the center of gravity for a high launch with increased carry distances and superior MOI
- Progressive variable face thickness optimizes speed and launch for each loft; lower CG in longer irons enhances ball speed and carry while higher CG in shorter irons emphasizes control
- Rebound Frame with thinner faces and perimeter grooves in the body improve face flex for maximum speed, especially low on the face
- Proprietary Weight Plus technology positions mass in the butt of the shaft, creating a counterweight design that helps you find the ideal spot at the top of the swing and easier downswing release
- Stock Shaft: XXIO 13 MP-1300 Graphite (47g Regular Flex, 50g Stiff Flex)
- Stock Grip: XXIO 13 Weight Plus (56g, 0.65”)
