Save shots and play your best game with a golf rangefinder! A rangefinder gives you precise distances on the course, providing the accurate data you need to know exactly how far you need the ball to travel. When you're confident about the distance to the pin or a water hazard, you'll be able to choose the right club for the shot – and know how hard to hit. We carry a variety of rangefinders from the top brands, including Bushnell and Leupold, at the guaranteed lowest prices available.

The Benefits of a Golf Rangefinder

Many golfers consider rangefinders to be a must-have on the course. Knowing the distance to the green or how far a particular hazard sits is an important element of playing a great round of golf. And simply guessing or accepting the yardage on your scorecard often isn’t good enough – an experienced golfer needs pinpoint accuracy to choose the right club and to determine the strength of your swing. While having a golf rangefinder won't suddenly allow you to hit impossible shots, it can give you the data that you need to know that the shot you planned won't leave you in a bunker.

Golf rangefinders offer a range of different features. While every rangefinder will allow you to determine the distance from your position to a given target, some models will consider the slope in the calculations, helping you to control your shot when hitting uphill or downhill (note that slope measurement calculations are not allowed in USGA approved tournaments). Look for a model with a long battery life and a clear screen that’s easy to read, even in bright sunlight. You'll also want a golf rangefinder that's lightweight and comfortable to hold, and which fits comfortably into your stand bag or travel bag.

Laser rangefinder or GPS?

Laser rangefinders operate using a beam of light to calculate an object's distance, measuring how long it takes the light to reflect back to the device. Golf GPS devices use preloaded maps with the coordinates of the green so that calculating distances is quick and easy. Laser rangefinders are considered to be the most accurate of all rangefinders, while GPS can be quicker and less subject to error. Why not try a hybrid device that includes both and get as much information as possible? Golf GPS watches have also become very popular, as they are the easiest to carry with you as you play.
