Callaway Epic Speed Fairway Woods set a new bar for ball speed technologies and with their forward center of gravity, produce a strong, piercing ball flight and driver-like performance.

Epic Ball speed starts with Callaway's new Jailbreak A.I. Velocity Blades.  Using artificial intelligence, Callaway's engineers designed a completely new Jailbreak system which spreads and angles the Jailbreak Blades.  In addition to stiffening the body, the new design improves stability in the horizontal and torsional direction, resulting in exceptional ball speed across the entire face.

The second component involved in maximizing ball speed is the design of the face and what it's constructed from.  Callaway's advanced A.I. technology uniquely designed the Flash Face of every fairway wood model, adding ball speed on both center and off center strikes.  Callaway elected to craft the face from forged C300 maraging steel that is both strong, flexible and works in perfect harmony with Face Cup technology to help the ball explode of the club.

Stock shafts include the Project X Cypher and Project X HZRDUS Smoke IM10, in addition to the Mitsubishi MMT.  The stock grip is Golf Pride's Tour Velvet Align.
