Developed with extensive testing from PING's tour professionals, the Blueprint S Irons are engineered to deliver the exacting control and precision demanded by the world's best golfers. The irons' forged 8620 carbon steel construction offers superior feel, while a compact shape, thin topline, and minimal offset fit the most discerning eye.
Even elite ball strikers benefit from improved performance in the long irons. As such, the Blueprint S features a split-set construction, with the 3, 4, and 5 irons utilizing PING's patented "precision pocket forging" technique to create a pocket in the cavity. Said pocket saves 10 grams of weight, allowing for an MOI, stability, and forgiveness-boosting weight redistribution. Additionally, the discretionary weight's strategic placement optimizes the center of gravity for improved distance and trajectory control. The pocket is concealed by an elastomer insert, ensuring the solid feel and sound expected from a forged iron. The set's mid-to-short irons are sized and shaped appropriately to provide workability and control from the scoring clubs.
PING finishes the Blueprint S with their Hydropearl 2.0 finish. More than just premium-looking, Hydropearl significantly limits spin rate reduction in wet weather conditions. True Temper's tour-proven Dynamic Gold 120 is the stock shaft option.
