The Phantom's performance improvements are equally impressive, thanks to a revamped construction. The entire Phantom family is crafted from 303 stainless steel and fused with lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum flange and sole components. More rigid than the previous generation, the upgraded multi-material fabrication yields increased stability and MOI, drastically reducing the negative effect of poorly struck putts.
The final pivotal enhancement to Phantom is the introduction of Scotty's dual-milled face technology. Initially reserved for the tour, this intricate and precise two-step process seamlessly blends the softness of deep-milling with the feedback and consistency of mid-milling. The resulting surface is the Phantom line's flattest and most consistent face to date, providing extremely predictable distance control.
A custom-designed, anatomically-shaped grip caps every Phantom model. The grip's unique contours improve face-angle awareness throughout the stroke by maximizing the surface area in contact with the hands.
