The groundbreaking progressive center of gravity design concept began with the SM6, was improved in the SM7, and has taken a giant leap forward with the new Titleist Vokey SM8 Wedges.  The SM8's center of gravity has been moved forward, to a position just in front of the face, producing a wedge that wants to square up every time.  Vokey and his team achieved this new CG placement by lengthening the hosel and counterbalancing the extra weight with a high-density tungsten toe.  The high, forward CG position boosts MOI, improves distance control, trajectory control, feel and stability.

To provide you with maximum spin, every SM8's grooves are 100% inspected Spin Milled Grooves.  The wedges receive a proprietary heat treatment that doubles groove durability.  Six tour-proven sole grinds provide a precision fit.

Grinds:

F Grind: All purpose grind for full wedge shots, especially full shots or shots hit with a square face.

S Grind: Full sole narrowed by a trailing edge.  Best for neutral to firm conditions and for players that control loft with their hands ahead of the ball.

D Grind: Players high bounce wedge with versatility from a heel, toe, and trailing edge grind.  Ideal for players with a steeper angle of attack.

L Grind: Heel, toe and trailing edge relief for maximum greenside versatility.  Perfect for firm conditions and designed for precise players.
